The members seek to provide a comprehensive and specialist service as auctioneers and valuers of antiques, fine art, jewellery and other chattels.

The Society aims to provide guidance to its members to ensure the highest possible standards of practice in all regards, and encouragement and reassurance to clients that their best interests will be served at all times.

Experience and Expertise
Between them, the members of SOFAA have an unrivalled breadth of knowledge and experience. One of the basic tenents of membership of the Society is that proper research is undertaken when required. Such research and subsequent recommendations to clients may include a referral to another specialist. The declared aim of member firms is to achieve the best possible result for a client at all times.
